Violets Journey

A spiritual adventure around the world. One of the best aspects of my Moroccan tour was that we got to eat authentic Moroccan food every day, for every meal. Moroccan cuisine is traditionally cooked in a tagine. Vegetables, meat, and spices are slow cooked inside the tagine. The resulting dish is tender with perfectly blended flavors. This is from Mauna Kea, a beautiful view of the Milky Way. This was shot with a 30 second exposure and was not something we could see otherwise. Volcanic rock beginning to grow vegetation, with a little patch of imported trees from a concerned local many years ago. I think this one may be my favorite.
